| |
mint leaves, chopped |
1 cup
|
salted and roasted peanuts, coarsely chopped |
Directions:
In a bowl, mix fish sauce with ginger, garlic, soy sauce and sugar, stir
until the sugar is dissolved and marinate beef in the sauce for about
30 minutes.
In a bowl mix the lemon juice with water, sugar, fish sauce and chili flakes; once sugar is dissolved, add shallots.
Cook pasta or noodles in enough salted water for about 5 minutes or
until “al dente”, drain and rinse with cold water. Core apples, and cut
them into thin slices.
After the beef has marinated for half an hour, preheat a grill or thick
skillet and add a teaspoon of oil until hot. Place the fillet in the
pan, seal beef on all sides, cover the skillet and lower the heat, allow
to cook for 15 minutes. Then, remove from heat, let cool slightly.
Slice the beef as thick as you choose and set aside.
In individual serving dishes, place mixed lettuce with apples, noodles,
meat slices and season with lemon juice dressing. Just before serving,
add chopped peanuts.
