Salty meets spicy with this delicious peanut snack. Perfect for a mid-day treat, or movie night.
2 cups (500 mL) peanuts
20 arbol hot peppers, sliced
3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
½ cup (125 mL) olive oil
4 tbsp (60 mL) coarse salt
Heat half the oil in a pan, fry peanuts until they start to brown avoiding burning them. Remove carefully.
Add remaining oil, fry garlic until golden, add peppers for a couple of minutes; pour over the peanuts, season with salt and let cool before eating.
